Beautifully decorated with intricate hand-applied floral scrollwork and geometric motifs in vibrant shades of cobalt blue, turquoise, green, yellow, purple, and white. The richly colored enamel remains well preserved with attractive age and patina to the silver. The interior retains its original cigarette retaining straps, showing expected wear from age and use. The case has tested as 800 silver, though no visible maker's marks or hallmarks were found. A fine example of Russian or Continental cloisonné craftsmanship and an exceptional addition to any antique silver or enamel collection.
